Falken ad campaign wins more awards

Falken Tire Corp.'s "Conquer Your World" advertising campaign has been recognized by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA) with three Davey Awards for Print Advertising.

The Davey Awards are presented annually for outstanding work in a variety of visual fields. Falken was presented with three silver awards for its print creative.

“We are very pleased to receive this recognition from an esteemed board of creatives from around the country acknowledging the work that our Falken marketing team is doing on behalf of our dealer partners and consumers,” says Rick Brennan, Falken’s executive director of marketing. “We thank the International Academy of Visual Arts for these three awards.”

The Davey Awards exclusively honor the “Davids” of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. According to the IAVA, the Davey Awards are named for David who defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock - the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. The Davey Awards is the leading awards competition specifically for smaller firms.

Earlier this year the same Falken campaign was recognized by a graphic design group.
