Fred Arehart is the new director of technical services for Bandamatic Systems Inc. He also will assist the sales and marketing department, according to the company.
Arehart has more than 25 years experience in the tire retreading industry. He most recently headed up technical services for Hercules Tire and Rubber Co.
Bandamatic is the distributor for Hules Banda, the Mexico City, Mexico-based manufacturer of tread rubber, cushion gum, inner tubes and other products used in the tire and retread industry. Bandamatic is based in Houston, Texas.
