Chicago Pneumatic will unveil new cordless tools

Oct. 28, 2014

Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. will unveil new cordless tools and pneumatic impact wrenches at the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show (booth # 10102) Nov. 4-7 in Las Vegas. The company will also preview workshop equipment that will be available in 2015.

Cordless tools

“Until now, professionals had to choose between the mobility provided by cordless and the power of air tools,” says Luis Clement, Chicago Pneumatic Tools vice president.

“Now, customers can have both, getting their job done faster and more comfortably. Our new cordless range complements our pneumatic offering.”

The company says its new range of cordless tools provides the operator with more power and a runtime twice that of conventional products. The cordless tools include impact wrenches and drivers. The 20-Volt/4Ah CP20XP and 12-Volt/1.5Ah CP12XP Lithium-ion batteries means the tools deliver the power and performance of an air tool while providing the mobility of a battery tool.

Air tools

The company will also be displaying its new air tools including:

* the CP7748TL ½” composite Torque Limited impact wrench which is an ideal tool for everyday tire changing applications and for operators looking for durability, high performance and productivity;

* the CP7749 ultra-compact lightweight high power ½” composite impact wrench that delivers one of the best power-to-weight ratios for its class and delivers maximum efficiency in the workshop; and

* the CP7776 1” metal pneumatic impact wrench that offers high power and durability for general mechanics and tire changing on heavy vehicles.

Workshop equipment

In addition, the company will be previewing its new line of workshop equipment for professional automotive and heavy vehicle maintenance. The highly anticipated new line of workshop equipment includes jack stands, bottle and floor jacks, air-hydraulic jacks and presses, and other accessories. It has functional design, exceptional engineered quality, inherent durability, and high safety levels, meeting ASME standards.
