The new Ironman ST-SVP radial trailer tire from Hercules Tires is designed as "an economic choice" for trailers, according to the company.
The ST-SVP offers the following features and benefits:
* a specially formulated tread compound that prolongs tread life;
* dual steel-belted construction;
* jointless nylon cap plies that smooth out the trailer's ride for more comfortable towing; and
* a symmetric tread design with a solid center rib that delivers "excellent" highway stability, dependable traction and long wear.
“With quality construction and competitive positioning, we expect the ST-SVP to become a staple in the Ironman tires line,” says Joshua Simpson, vice president of marketing.
The Ironman ST-SVP is available in nine 6-, 8- and 10-ply sizes ranging from 13 to 16 inches. Hercules plans to add a 12-ply size, ST235/85R16, to the lineup in 2015.
