Somerset Tire Service Inc.'s Selden, N.Y., store, its fifth on Long Island, is under construction.
The full-service outlet should be open in four to five months, says Phil Burke, a Somerset spokesman.
The Bound Brook, N.J.-based dealership is also building three other outlets.
With 85 locations, Somerset Tire Service is the 10th largest independent tire dealership in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics. Last year it reported some $100 million in sales.
