Alliance Tire CEO receives Forbes India honor

Oct. 20, 2014

Alliance Tire Americas Inc. announced that its group CEO, Yogesh Mahansaria, has been named NextGen Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2014 Forbes India Leadership Awards (FILA).

Mahansaria is the founder of Alliance Tire Group.

The company says the NextGen Entrepreneur of the Year award is given every year to “an entrepreneur who has displayed the dynamism to revitalize an existing enterprise, and in the process, redefined the rules of business and prepared the enterprise for a whole new vector of growth.”

FILA awards are presented in 10 categories. Mahansaria was selected from a field of five finalists who were identified by the Forbes India editorial team.

The Forbes India team lauded Mahansaria for “harnessing the competitive advantage of Indian and Israeli assets, and scaling up a niche, B2B business globally by paying close attention to end users across geographies.”

Mahansaria has led ATG to triple its annual sales since the group’s founding in 2007. The company says that growth has put it well on its way to becoming one of the world’s top three manufacturers of agricultural, forestry and construction tires.

Mahansaria’s global perspective and his respect for the needs of customers in North America are key drivers toward the goal of growing the Alliance, Galaxy and Primex tire brands, according to Bruce Besancon, vice president of marketing for Alliance Tire Americas.

“We are really pleased to see Yogesh’s and ATG’s achievements recognized by such a prestigious group of global business leaders,” he says.
