The Tire Retread Information Bureau's (TRIB) plan to exhibit at the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Conference Oct. 1-3 in San Diego, Calif., is the latest in the organization's long line of activities this year.
Earlier in 2001, TRIB met with NASA to help boost the agency's use of retreads, published an updated version of its Retread Tire Buyers Guide, elected two new board members while re-electing another two and co-launched a tire safety campaign with Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. involving the distribution of more than 100,000 tire inflation brochures at weigh stations throughout the United States and Canada.
TRIB also announced its next board meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at the Las Vegas (Nevada) Convention Center.
