Members at the Automotive Distribution Network's fall membership meeting reviewed marketing and product initiatives, learned about information technology enhancements and brainstormed ideas for the program group's future.

The meeting in Boston posted record attendance, including several manufacturer partners and executives from warehouse distributors representing the Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride brands, according to Mike Lambert, president of the Network.

“The exceptional turnout for this event enabled the majority of the group’s membership to effectively meet with the Network’s valued manufacturer partners to discuss promotional opportunities and further enhance their relationship,” Lambert says.

“Network committee members also evaluated the group’s 2014 goals and results, and help chart our future direction through brainstorming sessions.”

Attendees participated in a poker tournament that raised more $10,000 for a memorial scholarship in the name of George Segal, chairman of Concord, N.H.-based Automotive Supply Associates Inc., who recently passed away at the age of 87.

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network says it is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
