Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America Inc. (YOHTA) - until recently known as Alliance Tire Americas Inc. - is preparing for a big 2021 with the roll-out of new products and further refinement of its “one stop shop” concept, consolidated under the Yokohama banner. In this interview, YOHTA President Dhaval Nanavati discusses all of the above, in addition to support that parent company Yokohama Rubber Co. Alliance Tire Americas Inc. is now Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc., the U.S. sales and marketing arm of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.

Next year should be a good one for the ag tire market in North America, according to Nick Phillippi, national product manager, agriculture, Alliance Tire Americas Inc. "I think we'll see a nice bump in farmers' investment in equipment in 2021, whether it's in new machinery sales or in buying good used machines," he says. 

During normal times, few tiremakers - or tire dealers, for that matter - get excited about a "flat" year. But this hasn't been a normal year. And ag tire manufacturers are telling us that in their segment of the market right now, "flat" is actually good.

Alliance Tire Americas Inc. (ATA) is bringing a new line of truck and bus radial (TBR) tires to market under its Galaxy brand. The new Galaxy TBR line includes 10 designs and more than 40 sizes of 16-ply, all-steel radials, with plans for continued expansion.

The latest tires in the Galaxy Garden Pro line are labeled XTD to denote their extra tread depth, and Alliance Tire Group says it's a sign the company is "doubling down" on radial products for compact tractor applications.
