Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. stockholders overwhelmingly voted to approve the agreement to merge with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. About 99% of Cooper shareholder votes were cast in favor of the transaction.

Apollo Tyres is raising the price of its Vredestein brand off-highway and passenger and light truck tires up to 8%. Off-highway tire prices will increase on June 1. Passenger and light truck tire prices will go up on July 1.
