Anyline Inc. has launched its new mobile tire tread scanning tool, which the company says works on any mobile device, uses artificial intelligence technology and accurately measures tire tread depth and wear.
Anyline has introduced scanning technology that captures tire size and dimension information from sidewalls and integrates that data into tire dealerships' websites to help simplify the online tire buying process.
Anyline Inc.’s technology made a splash earlier in the year when Discount Tire revealed it was bringing Anyline’s optical character recognition (OCR) capabilities into its 1,000-plus stores. Karen Savage says Discount Tire's use spurred other large automotive retailers to accelerate their own plans.
Anyline Inc.'s optical character recognition (OCR) technology will be integrated into TPMS tools from ATEQ TPMS Tools LC, allowing users to scan tire DOT codes as well as vehicle data.
Empowering your staff to scan DOT Tire Identification Numbers with a cell phone will save time, support shop sales and could even save lives on the road
