Customer Experience creates loyalty

I met with a multi-store tire retail business owner recently who had no idea what “Customer Experience,” aka CE, meant. When I asked him about customer service, he knew immediately what to say: “Customer service is taking care of your customers,” he passionately proclaimed.


TPMS: Buick Enclave – 2008-2013

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2008–2013 Buick Enclave alerts the driver when a large change in the pressure of one tire exists while the vehicle is being driven.

The differences between Autopromotec in Bologna, Italy, and the trade shows in Las Vegas during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week are both subtle and dramatic. Autopromotec, which is known as a trade “fair,” covers nearly 1.7 million square feet at the Bologna Trade Fair Center. That makes it physically larger than the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show and Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo combined. Yet it has fewer exhibitors.


Dealers are optimistic about sales increases for the next three months

According to the results of our survey, demand for replacement tires increased in May. From a volume standpoint, the dealers reported they sold 0.3% more tires in May on a year-over-year basis, following a 0.2% increase in April and a 0.3% decrease in March. We are encouraged by the fact that demand trends remain positive after the sharp decline witnessed in February.
