Blue Bird picks Goodyear to be bus tire supplier

School bus manufacturer Blue Bird Corp. has selected Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. as a preferred supplier. Blue Bird buses will use Goodyear Unisteel G149 RSA and G182 RSD commercial tires.

The tires will be produced at Goodyear's manufacturing facilities in Danville, Va., and Topeka, Kan.

Blue Bird offers a complete line of Type A, C and D school buses in a variety of options and configurations.
