Titan will up prices on Titan, Goodyear tires

Posted on May 10, 2010

Titan Tire Corp. will implement price increases on its commercial tires effective June 1, 2010.

An increase of up to approximately 6% will be applied to the following:

* Titan brand farm tires,

* Titan brand construction tires, and

* Goodyear brand farm tires.

(The company says certain tire prices may rise in excess of 6% due to realignment and positioning of the product.)

According to Titan, the increases "will offset rising raw material, energy and transportation costs."
