Bartec wants your customers to know TPMS

Posted on February 28, 2013

Bartec USA LLC offers tire dealers a Consumer Kit that comes with a counter mat, mouse pad, informative wall poster, large window banner, two versions of consumer oriented brochures, and a countertop display.

To bring it all together, Bartec created a comprehensive reference book. Bartec says its goal in developing this kit was to build knowledge and confidence and improve on the abilities of technicians and counter people alike.

Bartec says using this Consumer Kit in your tire shop or service center will help consumers better understand TPMS and what is required.

“We surveyed hundreds of tire shops and found a common message, technicians and counter people need help explaining what tire pressure monitoring systems are all about,” says Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec USA.

“Who better than Bartec to provide the proper explanations and answers to the sometimes challenging service work that is a part of TPMS?”

Bartec says it is intent on continuing the mission to deliver the necessary tools to help repair technicians avoid the make-inoperative trap. It is important to remember, according to the National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA), it is the responsibility of tire shops and repair centers to keep the TPMS operating.
