Bartec taps Donaldson to lead national sales

Posted on March 5, 2013

Bartec USA LLC has hired automotive aftermarket veteran Steve Donaldson to serve in the role of national sales manager. He comes to Bartec from Schrader International Inc.

Donaldson has 25+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. His experience in the parts and tools categories, particularly in tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), makes for a perfect fit, notes Bartec.

“Steve has a solid ability to manage sales, marketing and product training; and he has the right balance of sales and technical expertise which makes Steve an asset on day one,” says Steve Long, Bartec sales manager.

While at Schrader, Donaldson became very well versed in TPMS and has held the TIA/ATS trainers status for the last four years. His ability to teach and train while working with customers on TPMS has played a large part in his proven track record. He has conducted hundreds of TPMS clinics over the last six years.

“We continue to see a significant rise in the demand for our already popular line of TPMS tools and solutions, and the need for more ‘feet on the ground’ is greater than ever,” says Scot Holloway, Bartex CEO.

“Bartec is well known for excellent customer service and it is something our customers expect.”

In addition to Donaldson, the Bartec national sales team includes Dennis Flannery and Kelly Nugent. Steve Long is now the sales team manager.
