Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd.’s (ZC Rubber) factory in Thailand has produced the first truck bus radial (TBR) tire in a new TBR product line.

All the TBR tires producing at ZC Rubber’s Thailand plant will serve the Southeast Asia market.

The Thailand factory is ZC Rubber’s first overseas factory. ZC Rubber is based in mainland China. The company says the Thailand factory has “created a miracle” on finishing its first phase of the project during 180 days.

The 570,000 square meters (approximately 6.13 million square feet) factory has operated for six months, producing both PCR and TBR tires. The annual capacity of PCR in ZC Thailand is estimated to reach 5 million pcs and the TBR is 700 thousand pcs at the end of 2016.

The company says the Thailand plant, plays an important role to further globalization. The factory produces premium TBR tires, which feature high mileage and savings in fuel consumption.

The new factory does well in saving energy and protecting the environment, according to ZC Rubber. The company says it is its responsibility to reduce resource consumption through its advanced technology.
