Continental says the X3 in the Grabber X3 stands for extreme dirt, mud, and rock.
The mud-terrain tire, which launched in July, is designed for off-road enthusiasts, says Travis Roffler, director of marketing for the General Tire brand.

“Our team put in over three years of research and development to get the tire to this point,” says Roffler. "We feel very confident that it will provide the performance needed and expected in extreme terrain. We’re beyond excited to get this X3 out into the market to compliment the already strong line-up of off-road tires that General is known to offer."

The lineup will include 13 flotation sizes for rim diameters between 15 and 20 inches. There will be 16 LT metric sizes for rim diameters between 16 and 20 inches. Seventeen sizes are available with red lettering on the sidewall.
