TIA 's Rohlwing Is Set to Speak at the ITT Conference

The Tire Industry Association's own Kevin Rohlwing will be a featured speaker at the 12th International Conference on Intelligent Tire Technology (ITT). The conference will be held Oct. 25-27, 2016, in Dresden, Germany.

Rohlwing, TIA's senior vice president of training, is the only speaker representing the U.S. As part of his presentation, "Market Changes in the U.S.," Rohlwing will:

* give an analysis of the current placement market and changes to distribution;

* discuss the effect of tariffs on imported tires;

* provide an overview of tire registration legislation and what it means for retailers; and

* share a proposed model for a tire recall recovery system using electronic identification.
