Hankook Tire America Corp. has released two tires designed for regional service applications. The new Hankook AH37 and DH37 tires are designed to offer lower rolling resistance and greater fuel efficiency.
Both the AH37 and DH37 feature 3D Kerf Technology, offering better traction, increased mileage and improved tread wear. SmartWay and California Air Resources Board (CARB)-certified, the tires help reduce the impact on the environment, according to Hankook.
The AH37 is a steer / all-position axle tire for regional haul fitments on truck and bus applications. Offering multipurpose performance, the AH37 tire is structurally designed for longer tread life, fuel efficiency and durability in intense driving conditions. The optimized footprint offers improved traction and mileage performance for a smoother ride and better handling. An enhanced kerf design displaces water for outstanding road grip in adverse weather conditions.
“Hankook continues to bring the latest tire technology to the commercial market,” says Brian Sheehey, senior director, Hankook Tire America Corp. “The AH37 and DH37 tires offer a new element of performance and durability to Hankook’s TBR portfolio.”
Both tires will be available for purchase starting in March through Hankook certified dealers.
