Perfect Equipment Wheel Weight Is Designed for Cold Temperatures

Posted on September 29, 2017

Wegmann automotive USA Inc. has added an adhesive wheel weight designed for cold temperatures to its Perfect Equipment product line.

New Perfect Equipment Cold Weather Tape maintains an optimal bonding power at temperatures as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the company. The specialized tape helps alleviate cold-weather driven issues that can occur when installing adhesive wheel weights.

The company says most adhesive wheel weights are inefficient below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Perfect Equipment Cold Weather Tape eliminates the need to heat the wheel in temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

The new wheel weights are well-suited for any vehicle, but offer exceptional adherence in cold temperatures, according to Wegmann. The product meets strong demand in the northern U.S. and Canadian markets.

Perfect Equipment Cold Weather Tape is available now in lead and steel options.

To order, contact a Wegmann automotive sales representative or customer service representative. For general information about the company and its products, visit the company’s website or call (615) 916-3791.
