Latin Tyre Expo Returns to Panama June 6-8

Posted on March 9, 2018

More than 200 international tire and retread manufacturers and distributors are expected to return to Panama this summer for the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo.

It's the only U.S. trade-certified tire show in Latin America endorsed by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Organizers cite data from Statista that says by 2020 demand for tires is expected to reach 173 million units across Latin America.

Retreading is a big topic at the expo, with the presence of several companies such as Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau, Vipal Cauchos, Retreading Business Ltd., Hules Banda S.A. de C.V., Industrias de Hule Galgo S.A. de C.V., Elgi Rubber Co. LLC, Industrias del Neumatico S.A.U. - Insa Turbo Tyres, Lakin Tire West, and others.

The expo will be June 6-8, 2018 at the ATLAPA Convention Center in Panama City. Spaces are limited and the show sells out each year.
