The tire makers say all of the required regulatory authorities have approved the deal. The transaction is expected to close at the end of June.

In a joint press release, the companies say TireHub will provide U.S. tire dealers and retailers "with a comprehensive range of passenger and light truck tires from two of the world’s leading tire companies, with an emphasis on satisfying rapidly growing demand for larger rim diameter premium tires."

TireHub will combine Goodyear’s company-owned wholesale distribution network with Bridgestone-owned Tire Wholesale Warehouse (TWW).

The joint venture also has launched a website: www.tirehub.com.

BFM Group Inc a Tire and Auto Car Marketing Company With HQs in St Louis has been watching this transaction carefully. Major Tire Wholesalers with switch their Marketing emphasis to other Complete Line Tire Manufacturers while Goodyear and Bridgestone partnership reduces their distribution cost while increasing profits. The big question is, does both Tire Manufactures have the sales and customer Service Network ready to reach out to all the Tire Dealers across the USA with equal Effectiveness.as their Distributors did for years.
