New Tire Pros Ad Campaign Costs $1 Million

American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) has launched a $1 million ad campaign highlighting the work of its Tire Pros franchisees. The message is hassle-free customer service.

“This campaign is a tribute to and investment in our franchisees, who truly are the beating heart of our business,” said Ron Sinclair, president of Tire Pros and senior vice president of retail strategy and partnerships for ATD.

"We’ve made a promise to deliver hassle-free service, and Tire Pros franchisees are making that promise a reality every day. That’s the message we’re sending to consumers all over the country through this ad campaign."

The campaign was developed in collaboration with Tire Pros' Mission-Based and National Dealer Councils and Tire Pros’ agency of record, Charlotte-based LGA. It features a commercial that begins airing today across streaming television and programmatic video platforms Hulu and Tremor, respectively. The commercial touts Tire Pros as part of a return to simplicity, when being on the move didn’t mean hassles.

“Your first set of wheels didn't come with complications, or strings, or hassles," the voiceover says. "It can be that way again."

In the weeks ahead, the campaign also will roll out a series of never-before-seen social ads, entitled, “Said no one ever.” Each ad features everyday hassles such as a flat tire or flashing engine light standing in the way of life’s routines, major milestones and great adventures, followed by the Tire Pros brand promise to protect consumers from the unnecessary roadblocks in life.

"A flat tire would really make this road trip better… said no one ever,” the ad says, with an image of a car driving down a winding road with mountains in the background. Fading to the Tire Pros branding, the ad continues, “That’s why we make it simple. Hassle-Free. Guaranteed.”

Designed to drive brand awareness and traffic to the more tha 600 Tire Pros locations, the integrated campaign also includes online video, print and radio, and will be available for use in each dealer's local market as well as in regional campaigns.

Tire Pros Francorp, a subsidiary of ATD, brings tire dealers together under a shared national brand and offers them the following:

* dedicated retail sales consultation,

* marketing support,

* training,

* financial management, and

* "additional enhancements" designed to help them compete in today's fast-changing retail marketplace."

Through their affiliation, Tire Pros dealers are able to offer one of the strongest warranty packages in the industry, featuring complimentary roadside assistance that is honored at more than 30,000 service centers nationwide.
