Dynamic Recalls 130 Sailun S698 Truck Tires

Posted on March 11, 2019

Dynamic Tire Corp. (Dynamic) is recalling 130 Sailun S698 truck tires due to incomplete markings on the sidewall.

The tires, Sailyn S698 157/154 L PR20, in size 315/80R22.5, were produced the week of June 18, 2018, to June 25, 2018. The tire identification number (TIN) is incomplete, because it doesn’t include the date of manufacture. As a result, the tires don’t comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard.

Dynamic says it has notified owners of the tires, and dealers will reimburse the purchase price or replace the tire, free of charge. The recall began Feb. 12, 2019.

Owners may contact Dynamic Tire customer service at 1-905-595-5558.

Owners also may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to
