Sullivan Tire Turns 64

Sullivan Tire Co Inc. isn't going to wait until it turns 65 years old to celebrate. The company is marking 64 years in business in 2019, and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is lending a hand in the party planning.

On May 22 Goodyear's Wingfoot blimp will fly above Plymouth Harbor bearing a Sullivan Tire and Auto Service message. Sullivan Tire has been a Goodyear dealer for more than 40 years, and is offering a sale on Goodyear products from May 6-31.

“As a partner of Goodyear for over 40 years, we are thrilled to be celebrating our anniversary on the Goodyear Blimp above Plymouth Harbor and to bring along some of our customers who have been with us over these 64 years,” says Paul Sullivan, vice president of marketing for Sullivan Tire.

Sullivan Tire ialso will offer five lucky winners the chance to take a ride on the Goodyear blimp.

With its headquarters in Norwell, Mass., Sullivan Tire operates 71 retail stores, 15 commercial truck centers, 13 wholesale locations, three tire retread shops, two distribution centers and two LiftWorks facilities. The company holds the No. 14 spot on the MTD 100 list of top independent dealers.

Sullivan Tire has more than 1,200 employees in five states: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine.
