Monro Will Share Its Perspective on Consumers on June 18

Posted on June 4, 2019

Two Monro Inc. executives will present at the upcoming 19th Annual Oppenheimer Consumer Growth and E-Commerce Conference in Boston, Mass.

CEO and President Brett Ponton and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Brian D’Ambrosia are scheduled to give their presentation on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 9:20 a.m. ET. A live webcast of the presentation will be available via the "Investor Relations" section of the company’s website, www.corporate.monro.com and will be archived for two weeks.

"The mid-year timing of our consumer conference has always been a prime opportunity to assess the state of the consumer heading into the critically important back-to-school and holiday shopping periods," say the conference promoters. "Investors will be able to meet with leading consumer companies to assess the prospects for consumer stocks in the second half of the year."

Monro recorded a 6.4% increase in sales for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2019, and crossed the $1.2 billion threshold, up from $1.12 billion a year ago. The Rochester, N.Y.-based company operates a chain of 1,249 stores -- close to half of which are independent tire dealerships -- 98 franchised locations, eight wholesale locations and three retread facilities in 30 states.
