Pirelli Gives the Scorpion Verde All Season Plus a Refresh

Pirelli Tire North America Inc. says the updated Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II features a new tire compound and a larger, rebalanced contact patch for better wet braking and handling.

Pirelli says the tire, designed as an eco-friendly option for SUVs, CUVs and pickup trucks in North America. The tire is available in 32 sizes, and the full 40-size range will be available by September.

The tire joins Pirelli's Plus line of products. Even with its improvements the tire maintains the focus on mileage, comfort, noise and winter performance of its predecessor. The Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II also is covered by a 65,000-mile limited tread wear warranty.

A look at the tire's technical highlights:

New compound: Improved overall performance in wet conditions as well as dry handling, while maintaining the mileage, comfort, noise and winter performance of the previous generation.

Optimized footprint: A larger, rebalanced contact patch for improved wet braking and handling in a variety of conditions.

High mileage: This product was developed specifically for the North American market taking into consideration the drivers, vehicles and highway characteristics.

All-Season performance: The Scorpion Verde All Season Plus II is designed to be a well-balanced tire for CUVs and SUVs that delivers performance, low noise and handling.
