The new Nitto NT420V offers all-season performance with a unique non-directional asymmetric tread pattern and LT metric sizing. It is Nitto’s first LT-metric, F-load range tire for an all-season truck and SUV pattern.

For the first time , Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. is offering an LT metric-sized tire with an F load range rating in an all-season pattern: the new NT420V.

The company says the NT420V luxury truck and sport utility vehicle (SUV) all-season tire offers one-ton truck owners a proper load-rated application. The new NT420V will be available in 32 popular sizes for half-ton to one-ton trucks, full-size SUVs and crossover vehicles.

Designed as a successor to the popular NT420S series of tires, the new Nitto NT420V offers all-season performance with a unique non-directional asymmetric tread pattern and LT metric sizing, according to the company.

Designed with Nitto’s proprietary tire tread pattern computer simulation technology, the Nitto NT420V has a new tread pattern. The revised tread block pattern reduces road noise, while the unique asymmetrical arrangement provides two distinct performance zones across the tread. The outer tread features cornering and dry handling performance courtesy of rigid tread blocks, while the inner tread adds wet-weather performance thanks to a higher void ratio and wide circumferential grooves.

In addition to all-weather performance, the computer-designed tread pattern of the NT420V offers a striking and unique aesthetic profile with one-of-a-kind touches, including bold tread surface serrations. The distinct visual touches extend to the sidewall, where a diamond pattern is designed to draw attention to factory or aftermarket wheels, according to the company.

“Nitto Tire is excited to release our modern luxury truck and SUV all-season tire with the NT420V,” said Angelo Naval, Nitto Tire U.S.A.’s senior director of product and business development. “We’re confident that the NT420V’s unique blend of bold aesthetics, and excellent highway handling performance will make it a winner in this vital market segment.”

The Nitto NT420V will be available in 32 different sizes designed for a wide range of 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton and one-ton trucks; full-size SUVs; and crossover vehicles with rim diameters ranging from 20 inches to 24 inches.

The NT420V is available now for purchase at Nitto authorized dealers. To learn more about Nitto Tire, please visit Nitto on Facebook at www.facebook.com/NittoTire, on Twitter at @NittoTire, on YouTube at www.youtube.com/NittoChannel, or at www.nittotire.com.
