Goodyear Board Agrees to Quarterly Dividend

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will pay a quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share of common stock on Sept. 3, 2019, to shareholders of record on Aug. 1, 2019.

The payout, agreed upon by Goodyear's board of directors, represents an annual rate of 64 cents per share.

Goodyear posted a net loss of $61 million on net sales of $3.6 billion for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. Tire unit volumes were down 2.5%, from 39 million to 38 million.

The board of directors also declared a quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share following its first-quarter results.
