Meineke Expands in North Carolina

Posted on August 16, 2019

Meineke Car Care Centers LLC has opened a location in Holly Springs, N.C. It is the first Meineke outlet for new franchisee Darrick Finan.

“I respect the Meineke model,” says Finan, who recently left a 30-plus-year corporate career. “They have a great marketing program that helps create customer traffic, and they are on top of the technology and training needed to repair today’s vehicles.”

Finan was familiar with the Meineke model thanks to a good friend of his, Maurice Richardson, who had managed another Meineke center for 10 years. Richardson has now become a partner in Finan’s new Holly Springs location and will be managing the store’s daily operations.

Driven Brands, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., is the parent company of four North American automotive aftermarket brands across four vertical markets: repair and maintenance, housing Meineke Car Care Centers; paint and collision, housing Maaco and CarStar North America; distribution, housing 1-800-Radiator & A/C; and Quick Lube, housing Take 5 Oil Change. Driven Brands says it has more than 2,500 centers across North America, and combined, all businesses generate more than $2.6 billion in system sales and service approximately 8 million vehicles annually.
