Posted on August 16, 2019

Driven Brands Inc. has built a two-bay franchise store in Gastonia, N.C., to serve the West Charlotte suburban community.

The Take 5 Oil Change network has expanded from 65 stores to more than 450 corporate and franchise locations throughout the United States since becoming part of Driven Brands in 2016.

Driven Brands says it is “focused on the continued growth of its corporate and franchise footprint across the United States.” The company acquired 48-Super-Lube locations in Florida, Wisconsin, Indian, Illinois, and Alabama in February 2019 and added them to its Take 5 Oil Change network.

The brand offers a 10-minutes or less oil change service and ancillary services such as air filter and wiper blade changes and transmission and radiator fluid replacements.

Driven Brands, headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., is the parent company of Meineke Car Care Centers, Maaco, CarStar North America, 1-800-Radiator & A/C, and Take 5 Oil Change. Roark Capital Group acquired Driven Brands in 2015.
