Josh Lopez has been hired to manage sales in the western region of the U.S. by TPMS manufacturer Hamaton Inc.

Josh Lopez is the new western regional sales manager for Hamaton Inc., the U.S. division of tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and valve manufacturer Hamaton Automotive Technology Co. Ltd.

Lopez’s hiring is part of Hamaton’s U.S. expansion plans.

Hamaton Automotive Technology is headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. The company’s U.S. division is based in Wixom, Mich. The U.S. division is the company’s North American TPMS technical center and a sales and distribution platform.

Hamaton says business has grown significantly since the opening of the U.S. division in 2016. The company is expanding its team to offer additional customer support while developing business in the western region.

Lopez joins Hamaton with over 15 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket sector, working in senior roles for Corghi USA, Myers Tire Supply and Westesco.

Besides working alongside Hamaton Inc.'s sales team, Lopez will provide field-based training as well as technical support to current and prospective distributors west of the Mississippi to help boost sales.

Hamaton Inc. General Manager Enri Osmani said Lopez “brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the role and company. I am confident Josh will play an instrumental part in achieving our goal of growth in the western region”.

Hamaton Inc. is exhibiting at the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show for its fourth consecutive year (booth #40247 in Global Tire Expo), and Lopez will be there. The SEMA show takes place Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas, Nev. To arrange a meeting at the SEMA show or your location, email Lopez via josh.lopez@hamaton-tpms.com or call 248-880-5302.
