The Continental VikingContact 7 winter tire is now available in 91 sizes, ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches in diameter.

According to Continental officials, the VikingContact 7 features a new tread pattern design and a special compound solution for:

  • Superb grip performance on wintry and wet surfaces;
  • Powerful traction and braking on icy and snowy roads;
  • And precise tracking stability under all wintry conditions.

The tire's Optimized Nordic Compound provides superb grip on wintry and wet surfaces, while its Advanced Grip Concept delivers powerful traction and braking on icy and snowy roads, say Continental officials.

In addition, its Intelligent Pattern Design features an efficient groove network that offers precise tracking stability in wintry conditions, say Continental officials.

“We’re excited to be expanding our winter tire offering with the VikingContact 7,” says Travis Roffler, director of marketing, Continental. "From extreme grip on snowy and wet surfaces to enhanced traction and braking, the VikingContact 7 gives consumers the confidence they need in tricky road conditions.”
