Kumho Tire USA Inc. has named Yong-Sik Shin to a newly created position as head of America Business Division.

In his new role, Shin will lead sales and overall operations for Kumho Tire USA, Kumho Tire Canada and Kumho’s passenger tire plant in Macon, Ga.

Kumho says the Shin’s appointment ties its three main subsidiaries in North America together from a leadership standpoint.

The restructuring will allow for better organization and communication within the internal efforts of North American operations, according to Kumho.

Shin has led Kumho’s international sales, marketing and logistics initiatives for the original equipment and replacement markets for the last 11 years. His latest role within the company has been serving as the head of global sales.
