Fullerton, Calif.,-based Pete’s Road Service Inc. has joined the Marangoni Tread North America Inc. dealer network and will offer Marangoni’s Ringtread and Unitread brands.

The alliance with Marangoni will help the dealership protect its independence, according to Kyle Fletcher, president.

“The switch to Marangoni offered us the ability to broaden our market, grow our market share, and be more competitive. We have been independent for 50 years and by aligning ourselves with Marangoni, we will continue to enjoy our independence long into the future.”

Pete’s Road Service started in 1969. The third-generation family owned company has grown from a single shop in Anaheim, Calif., to 10 locations throughout Southern California. The dealership’s retread plant has a capacity of more than 30,000 retreads a year.

Pete’s Road Service, Inc. provides a wide array of products and services to the Southern California market that includes Marangoni retreads, new tires from earthmovers to wheelbarrows, state-of-the-art service vehicles, TIA-certified service specialists, fleet management sales professionals, mechanical services, forklift tire service, polyfilling/flatproofing and a complete fleet solution management program.

Marangoni Tread North America is pleased to welcome Pete’s Road Service to its network, according to Clif Armstrong, president. “Pete’s built their business on servicing their customer’s needs and fits the business model that Marangoni strives for daily in supporting our independent retreaders.”
