VIP Tires & Service Donates Nearly $5,000 to Schools

Posted on October 2, 2019

VIP Tires & Service's Framingham, Maine, store recently donated $4,930 to schools in the area.

The money was raised through VIP's "Oil Changes for Education" initiative, which offered consumers $10 oil changes with 100% of the proceeds going to Framingham area schools.

The six-week-long promotion attracted nearly 500 customers, according to VIP officials. To date, "Oil Changes for Education" has raised more than $12,000 for local schools.

"Finding a way to get involved in the local community is important to every VIP employee," says Framingham Store Manager Michael Escolas. "This program has been wonderful and has allowed us to meet so many local residents."

VIP Tires & Services has 59 locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont, and is the 21st largest independent tire dealership in the United States, according to the MTD 100.
