When TireHub opened in July 2018 it had 80+ distribution centers. As of November 2019, the company has 70.
It's the third new market the company has entered in 2019.

The company says the new TireHub Logistics Center (TLC) will help it better meet customer needs with more frequent deliveries in Columbia. Those customers previously were being served by TLCs in neighboring markets.

The additional center also will help TireHub reach more customers throughout all of South Carolina with increased deliveries.

As part of its move into the new market, TireHub donated two sets of tires to the Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity — one set each from Bridgestone Americas Inc. and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.

In 2019 TireHub opened distribution centers in three new markets:

The company also relocated into new locations in three more markets:

  • Knoxville, Tenn.
  • Mobile, Ala.
  • Austin, Texas

“It is our hope that this donation will help Habitat for Humanity to continue to serve those within the Columbia area," says Peter Gibbons, CEO. "Their work is making a difference in the lives of people in this community, and we’re honored to support their mission of a world where everyone has a stable place to live."

Roy Kramer, executive director of Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity, says the tires “will provide safe transportation to both our construction and ReStore teams, as well as saving funds that can go directly into community services.”
