Tire Discounters Expands in Northern Alabama

Tire Discounters Inc. has opened a new store in Athens, Ala, its seventh location in northern Alabama.

The store is located at 15401 Greenfield Drive in Athens, on Highway 72 near the junction with Interstate 65.

“We’re excited to bring our unique approach to tire and automotive repair to Athens," says Crissy Niese, chief customer officer and senior vice president. "Now our customers won’t have to drive over to Huntsville to see us.”

“We know our customers can shop anywhere, but they choose Tire Discounters for our quality service, and great value and we’re honored to earn their business,” says the company's President Jamie Ward.

Tire Discounters serves both residential and fleet customers from its 125+ stores. The company is the seventh-largest independent tire dealer in the U.S., according to the Modern Tire Dealer 100.
