Posted on January 7, 2020

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) will offer four rounds of advanced hands-on training for technicians in the earthmover and farm tire service industries in 2020.

The earthmover classes will take place:

  • Jan. 14-17 at AME International in Brooksville, Fla.,
  • May 19-22 at Stellar Industries in Garner, Iowa; and
  • July 14-17 again at Stellar Industries in Garner, Iowa.

The farm tire advanced hands-on training will take place:

  • Aug. 11-14, also at Stellar Industries in Garner, Iowa.

Students will receive comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid them in servicing tires. The first day of class will be in a classroom setting, going through videos and workbooks. The remaining three days will be hands-on training.

TIA’s goal is to have the students leave with comprehensive knowledge of the specific tire service. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a certificate of completion.

For more information and to register, contact Christine Hoogenboom via email or by calling 1-800-876-8372 ext. 106 for information. Within a week of registering, students will receive an email confirmation from TIA.
