TIA Adds Commercial Tire Service Instructor Course

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added a fifth Commercial Tire Service (CTS) Instructor Training and Certification Course to its training offerings for 2020.

The new class will take place June 2-5 in Louisville, Ky.

The 400-level certified instructor training course covers all aspects of commercial tire service including OSHA standards, mounting/demounting, wheel installation and torque, road service, tire balancing and tire repair.

Students who pass the course will be certified to instruct TIA’s 300-Level Certified Technician Course in the field.

In addition to the Louisville session, TIA is offering CTS instructor training courses in Baltimore, Feb. 4-7 and Nov. 17-20, and Denver, April 14-17 and Aug. 18-21.
