Pietro Berardi Will Lead Pirelli in North America

Posted on February 14, 2020

Pirelli & Cie SpA has named Pietro Berardi the new CEO for the North America region, effective March 1, 2020.

He will replace Marco Crola, who will take the role of chairman of the North America region.

Although new to Pirelli, Berardi has extensive experience in the North American automotive industry and aftermarket. He has held senior roles in the Alliance (Nissan-Renault-Mitsubishi) and FCA Group (Magneti Marelli).

Pirelli says that Berardi’s new role will be to strengthen the company’s command of the market and its development, executing strategies and commercial policies best suited to consolidating leadership in the premium and prestige segments. In addition, he will continue the process of integrating the original equipment and replacement channels, as well enhancing relationships with strategic clients.
