Giti Maintains Tire Production in U.S. Factory

Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. is maintaining production of its South Carolina plant, as well as all functions related to tire distribution.

The company says it is closely monitoring and following local and federal guidelines to ensure the health and safety of its employees, as well as customers, suppliers and community.

For the last few weeks Giti has restricted travel, postponed events and had office employees telecommute. The company is enforcing social distancing, distribution of additional PPE to employees, plus extra cleaning and sanitizing procedures for common areas in high exposure areas in distribution centers and manufacturing plant in Chester County, S.C.

"Giti is committed to serving our customers and industry in spite of this unprecedented pandemic; we will continue to evaluate business and will make necessary adjustments as needed in a timely manner."
