What was your first job in the industry?
Oil changer and tire tech.
What attracted you to the industry?
My dad being a mechanic for several years, and I would help him. I just enjoyed cars.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your career?
Trying to keep up with technology. It's constantly changing.
Who has had the biggest influence on your career?
My dad, since he's been a mechanic for 35 or so years.
What is your biggest accomplishment in the industry?
Starting from the bottom and working my way up to where I am today.
What do you expect to be doing 20 years from now?
Would like to open my own mechanic shop, or be a manager of a shop.
What’s the biggest issue facing the industry today?
Technology. It’s always changing and you gotta stay on top of it.
What’s the one thing you wish someone would have told you before you entered the industry?

How do you encourage others to enter the industry?
There’s lots of room for advancement, lots to learn, and lots of money if you know what you’re doing.

Have a wife, and we have been married for two years. And I have a son.
What’s your favorite weekend activity?
Going to the lake and river. Just hanging out outdoors
What keeps you up at night?
My dogs! Really, nothing. I try not to stress or anything

If we took your cell phone away and said it would cost you $1,000 to get it back, how long would you survive until you paid the ransom?
I could last a long time.
