Giti Tire (USA) Ltd. has launched a website to support its GT Radial Smart Program that provides marketing support funds, online training, and point-of-sale materials for participating dealers.

Tire dealers Rob and Greg Young won $75,000 in the Next Level Sweepstakes. They had a chance to win $1 million.

Falken prepares to promote Wildpeak tires

Falken Tire Corp. will begin its first national consumer mail-in rebate promotion on Oct. 1, 2012. Consumers will have the opportunity to earn a $100 rebate when purchasing a set of four Wildpeak H/T tires, and $50 when purchasing a set of four Wildpeak A/T tires.

Brown says he also holds a 50/50 split in tire sales volume between passenger and light truck tires.

Good as GOLD

Incentive trips are generally the setting for companies to thank their top dealers for the business and spell out plans for the upcoming year. Continental Tire the Americas LLC (CTA) did just that in Nassau, Bahamas, last month with 260 of its GOLD dealers


‘Have we got a program for you’

There are more tire manufacturers with associate dealer programs now than there were just a few years ago. This trend is a reflection of more than competition among major tire manufacturers; it also underscores the strength of independent tire dealers, and their importance to their suppliers.
