Marangoni Retreading Will Raise Prices in Most of Europe

On July 1, 2018, the Retreading Systems Division of Marangoni SpA will upwardly adjust the sales price for rubber materials used to retread tires in all countries of the European Area. "This increase will reflect that of the raw materials used by this sector but should also be seen in the context of the current conditions of the whole TBR tire replacement market." said the company.


For wholesalers, 2014 was a VERY good year

After the first quarter of 2014, nearly half of the tire wholesalers responding to Modern Tire Dealer's exclusive State-of-the-Industry Survey reported unit sales were down. More than half reported their dollar sales were down.

Yokohama to raise consumer tire prices

Yokohama Tire Corp. announced today it will increase prices by up to 8% on all of its consumer tires sold in the U.S., which include passenger, performance and light truck tires. The increase will go into effect March 1, with some in-line adjustments announced at a later date.


Goodyear to raise prices on commercial products

Goodyear North American Tire has announced it will increase prices of all its brands of commercial tires, retreads and tread rubber by up to 10% effective Nov. 1, 2011. The price increase applies to the U.S. only.
