As the Point S Tire & Auto brand continues its march into the eastern U.S., leaders are celebrating a year of 16 new stores and the opportunity of four new market states. But it's not only about the new guys. Existing dealers are happy too, and giving the network high marks in its annual survey.
Point S tire dealers who are members of Tire Factory Inc. have voted to establish "essential store standards" throughout the member-owned cooperative.
In addition to working on the eastern expansion of the Point S brand in the U.S., Tire Factory Inc. has continued to build up the foundation of its cooperative in western states, adding 20 locations in 11 states in 2017.
Tire Factory Inc. and Point S USA are making a big move to expand their network of tire dealers into the eastern half of the country. The company is partnering with Nussbaum Distributing Inc. in Memphis, Tenn., to distribute tires to four states.
Point S tire dealers in North America are stocking the company's first Point S-branded tire, the Winterstar ST.
Clint Young has joined the Tire Factory Inc. management team as director of sales. He spent his first week in the tire business in a Tire Factory store earning his Tire Industry Association Automotive Tire Service certification.
