VIP Tires & Service has moved to a new location in Rockport, Maine, which replaces a VIP Tires store that had served the Rockport market since 1993.
The new Rockport location will officially open on May 23.
"The upgraded facility combines a completely renovated existing building that formerly operated as a Denny’s restaurant with a brand-new, state-of-the-art eight-bay service shop," according to VIP Tires & Service officials.
"Spanning more than 10,000 square feet, the new store features modern amenities including a spacious showroom, a tire warehouse that holds over 2,000 tires on site, updated customer bathrooms and a fully renovated interior designed for an improved customer experience.
"The addition of the new, spacious, eight-bay shop enhances VIP’s service capabilities, allowing for more efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs. The new shop is outfitted with the latest technology in automated vehicle inspection and diagnostic equipment enabling VIP team members to continue delivering exceptional service to their customers."
The Rockport store is managed by Karriann Frampton and employs a team of nine certified automotive professionals, including an ASE Master Certified Technician.

With more than 70 locations, VIP Tires & Service is one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the United States, according to MTD research.
