Diagnostic Network Unveils AI-Powered Technician Help

June 28, 2023

Diagnostic Network has created an AI-powered assistant, AiDN, designed to provide diagnostic advice to professional automotive technicians.

The company says AiDN was built to use proprietary algorithms to provide diagnostic help. Its multi-step diagnostic process provides "actionable recommendations" to help technicians "streamline troubleshooting procedures and optimize vehicle repair processes. Its intelligent algorithms utilize a combination of deep learning and natural language processing techniques, analyzing vast amounts of data to offer real-time guidance on complex diagnostic challenges," the company says.

"We are thrilled to introduce AiDN to the Diagnostic Network community," says Scott Brown, founder of Diagnostic Network. "This AI-powered assistant represents a significant advancement in vehicle diagnostics, empowering our members with an unprecedented level of support and expertise to complement the human interactions that are so critical to solving the toughest diagnostic dilemmas. We believe that AiDN will revolutionize the way vehicle service professionals approach diagnostics and drive greater efficiency in the repair process."

In its first phase, Diagnostic Network is launching AiDN as a beta release to Diagnostic Network community members. Those members can test the technology and also provide feedback to continue to refine its possibilities. The company says that feedback will be "crucial" in developing the technology for future use by professional technicians.

Diagnostic Network is an online community of more than 20,000 vehicle service industry professionals.
