Centric Parts expands executive team

Centric Parts, a North American manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems, has hired new staff members to bolster its executive management team.

The company says the hires were made to keep pace with steady growth as Centric continues to expand the scale and scope of its North American operations.

The new team members and their roles are:

* Sal Bora, vice president of operations:     

* Steve Hansen, engineering manager;

* Greg Hernandez, director of business systems; and

* Gilbert Loy, quality manager.

“In order to better manage our growing operations and planned future growth, Centric Parts is continuing to enhance its corporate management team by adding key positions,” according to Centric President and CEO Dan Lelchuk.

Centric Parts says Bora’s experience includes the management of manufacturing, purchasing, inventory control, production control, engineering, quality, testing, HR, shipping, receiving, warehousing, budgeting and finance functions with organizations involved in the high-tech manufacturing of consumer and commercial electronics, avionics, airframe, defense, medical class III, industrial, and automotive industries.

Hansen’s background includes engineering management and staffing; organization design; engineering development process design; engine design, combustion, simulation, and testing; electric and hybrid powertrains, batteries, and integration; and many other engineering disciplines.

Hernandez ‘s expertise includes IT resource optimization; project management; system development life cycle; enterprise-wide IT Initiatives; system implementation; project and program management; technology resource and asset management;  and IT service delivery.

Loy brings with him decades of experience in engineering and quality management roles in the the aerospace, medical and automotive industries.
